Tried, Tested and Reader Recommended!

In the endless quest for fair consumer testing, Good Housekeeping has launched a new scheme – where GH readers spread the word about the great buys on the High Street.

For decades, GH readers have relied on the Good Housekeeping Institute to recommend the best products, tried and tested by GH in-house consumer experts.

Now GH has decided to take the testing even further, by recruiting an army of readers to help with the testing.

If you see the Good Housekeeping Reader Recommended logo on any product, you know it’s been put through its paces by hundreds of GH readers in their own homes.

Clarins Vital Light Serum is the first product to receive the Good Housekeeping consumers' stamp of approval, and is featured in the magazine's October issue.

The triple-acting anti-ageing serum was tested by 140 readers as part of their regular beauty routine. The testers then provided feedback on their experience and the results were analysed by GHI experts before the final decision was taken.

More products are in the testing mill, and Good Housekeeping will inform their subscribers every time the product has been awarded with the reader-recommended approval.
